Maddie grew up cheerleading in Falkirk, Scotland, but quickly made the switch to dancing. She is a highly experienced competitive dancer and held twenty-seven national titles in cheer, pom, jazz, lyrical, tap and hiphop in both team and solo divisions.

Maddie competed at an international level at the IASF Dance Worlds in pom and hiphop divisions. After competing for the Scottish National Dance Team for a number of years, Maddie went on to coach the team in the pom and jazz divisions. At the 2022 ICU World Championships, her teams ranked in 3rd and 4th respectively.

Outwith dance team, Maddie has performed for the likes of the BBC, IKEA and the Homeless World Cup. She was also cast as a cheerleader in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Today, Maddie works as a professional choreographer specialising in pom, jazz and lyrical dance team choreography. In 2023 alone, her routines won multiple judge's choice and innovative choreography awards as well as bids to The Dance Summit, the Allstar World Championships and the IASF Dance Worlds. In her free time, she can be found judging, emceeing and staffing competitions around the world.
