Covid 19 update: ECL 2021 cancelled

In the light of the global situation considering the Covid-19 pandemic, the ECL steering committee moved to suspend ECL for the season 2021. The proposal was accepted by ECU executive board. 

 

Current travelling restrictions and provisional estimations for the following months make it very unlikely to believe that travelling and international competitions will be easily accessible to teams across Europe equally.

 

Additionally, it has been observed that not all countries currently enjoy the same conditions for practicing our sport. 

 

The committee proposed to take the year to prepare an adjusted league system that would be sustainable in case travelling restrictions persist beyond 2021.
